| I often wonder if people really understand what I am able to offer in service and education. It has occurred to me that this month I need to address this query in the form of a newsletter.
I am here to teach others what I have learned about the importance of expressing our emotions, especially those that are sad, angry or otherwise painful.
Our society teaches us to keep our “negative” emotions to ourselves. Why??
I have no idea. All emotions are normal and natural, and they are all meant to be expressed. When we store our painful emotions, the energy created and pent up inside us can manifest in seriously bad ways. We turn to various activities to bring relief, such as food, alcohol, drugs, sex, violence, shopping, and fantasy (TV, movies, video games, etc.), to name a few. We walk around in pain and distrust. Happiness often seems like an unreachable dream.
The reality of what we are here to live is this: we were born to be trusting, loving and forgiving. We were born to experience unlimited joy, happiness, love and forgiveness. However, with each life experience of being denied the opportunity to express our feelings to a loving, non-judgmental listener we become a little less trusting, a little less loving, and a little less forgiving. It is all cumulative over our lifetimes.
It’s time to bust the myth!! This is my purpose. This is my passion. I will never, ever give up on my mission to reach as many people as I can with this vital, life changing information and assistance.
Please invite me into your spaces to speak and teach. Please tell others about me. I can help to make very positive differences for people, but I need your help to make this happen.
Thank you!
